Apply to be an LA Fellow
LA Fellows are accepted through an application and interview selection process. The first step is to attend a mandatory information session.

Information Session Dates and Locations
Attend an information session to learn more about the program and application process. Be prepared to stay two hours. Job seekers only need to attend one information session. At the session, you will meet Los Angeles Valley College Workforce Training’s staff, learn more about the LA Fellows program and application process, and get your questions answered. Dress for the session is corporate casual.

Applications for those who attend the information session on June 21st  are due Monday, June 26th by 10:00 a.m.
Applications for those who attend the information session on June 30th are due Wednesday, July 5th by 10:00 a.m.
Applications for those who attend the information session on July 7th are due Wednesday, July 12th by 10:00 a.m. 

Applications for those who attend the information session on July 12th are due Monday, July 17th by 10:00 a.m. 
Applications for those who attend the information session on July 21st are due Wednesday, July 26th by 10:00 a.m.

Eligibility Requirements
Upon acceptance into the program, applicants must complete  enrollment forms. Items needed if applicable: Valid CA ID/License Social Security Card, or if not a US citizen, Right-to-Work documents (Valid US Passport, or Alien Card); Selective Services (CPC/verify); Unemployment Insurance Documents (EDD); Lay-off WARN Notice

Training
Training will begin for Cohort 17 on August 28, 2017 and will last approximately ten weeks. Training is held from 9am to 5pm Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; select classes may be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
